Beta .02

A small update to the install wizard.

Fixes an issue with the BCP path and moves the FIPS index creation to the indexing section. Also includes the .07 function updates.

The tables installed with the installer are different than the ones in the article. You can use one or the other, but you cannot use the format files on the main page with the installer tables and vice versa.

A bigger update is coming soon....... (hint: MySql, address parsing)

Just stumbled across the site today. I read through some of the info. Am I correct that the 4 gig download covers zip code lookup accross the entire US?

Keep it up man, mySQL and Java porting would be fantastic.

The 4 gig download allows you to get the coordinates of just about every address in the U.S.

If you only want to do zip code lookups you just need the FIPS55 data which is considerably smaller; I believe around 3 MBs.

When trying to instal Beta .02 I am getting the following error execute the exe

Application has generated an expection that could not be handled.
process id=0xb74(2932), thread id=0x3a4(932)

any help would be greatly apprciated.

Thanks it was a DUMB error on my part I didnt extract the file prior to launching the exe. sorry for the confussion this might have caused you.
